Pahansila General Coordinating Committee (PGCC) established the Pahansila Sri Lanka Chapter in February 2006 to recognize the service and the tremendous amount of work conducted by the Sri Lankan volunteers. The membership of our chapter consists with Pahansila administrators, supervisors, and donors who live in Sri Lanka. Although our chapter does not follow the typical protocols of the chapters outside of Sri Lanka, we play an important role in assisting all of them to conduct the projects and help in progress monitoring. Additionally, Sri Lankan chapter provided 13 scholarships with the support of 15 donors living in Sri Lanka, Australia, and United Kingdom. The progress reports of these projects were directly mailed to the donors due to the lack of resources to compile an online version of the report.
