From its inception in early 2006, the US West chapter has grown to sponsor 20 students in within one year. Currently, this chapter supports 6 scholarships by the generous donations from 5 donors. A dedicated group of volunteers consisting of 3 supervisors working from Sri Lanka, and 4 committee members in Portland-Oregon, find donors and raise funds to support needy students in Sri Lanka.
