Rageesh Chaturanga, a former Pahansila recipient, passed the 2004 O/L examination obtaining A passes for all ten subjects. His scholarship was terminated when he started receiving the widows and orphans benefits of his late parents.

Pradeep Gunatilleke has excelled in the O/L examination in 2004 obtaining seven A passes and three B passes.

Both scholarships were awarded by the Pahansila Urbana-Champaign chapter.
