United Nations Association of Sri Lanka invited Pahansila representatives to attend UN Day celebrations held at Dhamrmaraja College, Kandy. Pahansila started collaborating with UNASL in 2006 to provide scholarships to tsunami affected children, selected among the Southern Province study circles conducted by UNASL. As a result we initially started sponsoring 6 students. Recently we expanded the collaboration by sponsoring few other students recommended by UNASL from other parts of Sri Lanka.
